Vehicles recalled
• 2019-2021 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV minivans built between April 30, 2018, and Oct. 26, 2021.
• 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV minivans built between Aug. 12, 2016, and Aug. 7, 2018, including those that have already had recall repair 22V077 performed.
The problem: A folded or torn anode tab, along with a second unidentified factor, may lead to an internal short circuit within the battery pack and cause a fire.
The fix: Chrysler dealerships will perform a software update and, if necessary, replace the battery pack assembly free of charge.
