Jeep SUVs Recalled Again for Fire Risk; Owners Warned to Park Vehicles Outside

• Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid SUVs built between July 23, 2021, and Oct. 15, 2025
• Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid SUVs built between July 1, 2020, and Aug. 25, 2025

The problem: There is an issue with the separators between battery cells. Prior software-based repair attempts have not fixed the problem.

The fix: Jeep is still working on a fix and will alert owners as soon as it is available. In the meantime, owners should park outside and away from structures, and not plug in their vehicles to recharge.
